This page is going to be filled (eventually) with odd tidbits and information.

For example, did you know that some of the 1600 series Xeons up to the v3's were overclockable? Sepcifically, the 6 and 8 core variants were commonly overclockable. This ended with Broadwell.

In some operating systems, when you move a file onto a USB stick it will lie to you. It will move the file into RAM, say the tranfer is done, then begin the transfer. This is a caching "feature" that only misleads and hurts end users. If you remove the USB stick before the actual tranfer is complete, you'll end up with corrupted files.

You can run OpenGL over RDP on GTX cards (maybe more) if you start the OpenGL app first then open the RDP connection. For example, SketchUp will not open during an RDP session but does work if you start it before the RDP session.

The Nintendo DS Lite will not boot if the WiFi module is not connected. It will get stuck on black screens. It will also not boot without the battery even if it is plugged in. Once booted, the battery can be removed.
